The Bay Area Ridge Trail will be a continuous 550+ mile trail on the ridgelines around San Francisco Bay, open to hikers, equestrians, mountain bicyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts of all types. So far, over 310 miles are dedicated to enjoy today, and protected for future generations. The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council is a nonprofit that plans, acquires, builds, and promotes the Ridge Trail.
