The California Institute for Biodiversity is a nonprofit dedicated to improving science literacy in California through technology, stewardship, and professional educational development. Since 1995, CIB has helped thousands of teachers introduce their students to the biological diversity of California. Our new Coast Alive! program examines coastal natural processes and brings young people to State Parks and other natural areas. This exciting program makes science come alive!
