Measure WW, on the November 2008 ballot in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, meets the desires of a rapidly expanding population for more accessible parkland in your neighborhood. Measure WW will preserve open space and habitat, expand parks and trails, improve local parks, and protect and restore our urban creeks and watersheds. Over 67 current and future parks, trails, creeks and shoreline projects will benefit from Measure WW. Measure WW is an extension of the existing bond program and will not raise taxes.
