San Francisco Bay Trail Project
The Bay Trail is a continuous 500-mile shoreline path that will encircle San Francisco Bay providing recreation, alternative transportation and wildlife viewing opportunities. It will connect the shorelines of all nine counties in the Bay Area and 47 of its cities. Close to 300 miles of the Bay Trail are now open to walkers, joggers, bicyclists and wildlife enthusiasts.
