River otters find a fish head in Walnut Creek park

Ever since Sutro Sam entered the beach scene as San Francisco’s first river otter in a half century, you might say that the Bay Area has been in a bit of an otter fever. So we thought it was timely to post these images captured by Anthony Chiong from a lake at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. There’s nothing like a fish head to keep these youngsters out of trouble. Yum!
