Christopher Richard is curator of aquatic biology at Oakland Museum of California, where he has served for 25 years. A native Californian with a lifelong devotion to the study of California's marine and freshwater habitats, he is on the boards of Save the Bay and Friends of the Estuary, and also serves on the Alameda County Fish and Game Advisory Commission.
