Bay Nature’s Annual Local Hero Awards Dinner 2013 – Photos!

Bay Nature’s 2013 Annual Awards dinner took place on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Terrace Room across from Lake Merritt in Oakland. The event honored three local conservation heroes who have made outstanding contributions to  the understanding, protection, and stewardship of the natural world of the San Francisco Bay Area. Learn more about the honorees here. Featured guests included Peter H. Gleick, President and co-founder of the Pacific Institute, and Bay Nature magazine’s “Ask the Naturalist” columnist Michael Ellis of Footloose Forays.
