SUMMARY:50th Annual Mother's Day BBQ at Martin Griffin Preserve
DESCRIPTION:For 50 years\, Audubon Canyon Ranch and Marin Audubon Society have hosted a Mother’s Day BBQ at Martin Griffin Preserve. Families and friends come together for a day of food and fun in the meadow of Volunteer Canyon\, an area of Martin Griffin Preserve rarely open to the public.    Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch of BBQ chicken or vegetarian quiche\, beans\, breads and dessert—all while sitting in the beautiful\, natural surroundings of the preserve. There are ponds and hiking trails to explore and craft activities will be set up for children.    Proceeds will benefit the habitat protection and nature education programs of ACR and Marin Audubon Society. Event will be held rain or shine.    Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children under 12. Reservations are required by May 5\, 2013.
