Revive the vanishing knowledge of the history of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge grounds by strolling the trails with docent Ray Studer. Using a collection of old photographs, the last vestiges of a way of life such as salt production, the old railroads, and homes can be traced back to the 1850s that led to the construction of the town of Newark in 1876. Meets at the Visitors Center in Fremont.
