Año Nuevo Volunteer Naturalist Training

September 14 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Año Nuevo State Park is currently looking for outdoor enthusiasts to join our volunteer family. A true jewel of the California coast and home to a large Elephant Seal rookery, Año Nuevo is 20 miles north of Santa Cruz and offers a remarkable wildlife experience with viewing of marine mega fauna species. Accepted applicants receive comprehensive training as docent naturalists. After training, they lead guided walks through the rookery during the breeding season and act as “roving” naturalist interpreters for the rest of the year.

Training begins September 14, 2014. To apply, please visit our volunteering webpage at
http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=25259. For more information, please call (650) 879-2032 or email us at anovolcoordinator@parks.ca.gov.
