Turn your garden into a fascinating refuge for wildlife by enhancing the habitat value of your landscape. We’ll look at successful Bay Area front-yard and backyard wildlife habitat gardens and how the owners have provided the habitat basics of food, cover and water. These beautiful habitat gardens nourish many wildlife species, including birds, bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects. Low-water use, environmentally-friendly and easy to maintain, habitat gardens help alleviate habitat loss while offering daily invitations to enjoy all the action.

Nancy is a local treasure! She is a certified Master Gardener, garden columnist (1999-2006), and author of The Habitat Garden Book: Wildlife Landscaping for the San Francisco Bay Region, and The California Wildlife Habitat Garden: How to Attract Bees, Butterflies, Birds, and Other Animals.
