SUMMARY:Back to Reality at Hal Brown Park
DESCRIPTION:Marin County Parks Volunteer Coordinator Kirk Schroeder and Save The Bay Restoration Projects Manager Laura Wainer are calling all volunteers to help out this weekend at Hal Brown Park at Creekside in Greenbrae (across from Marin General Hospital). With summer only a memory\, it is time to briefly transplant yourself away from the hustle-bustle of everyday life and into beautiful Hal Brown Park. Help us as we work towards our goal of re-establishing 100\,000 acres of Bay wetland to support a sustainable ecosystem for generations to come. Volunteers will remove invasive species and help with shoreline cleanup. With your help we can make a difference today! Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration site\, space is limited and RSVP is requested. Please complete the online registration form to register yourself or a group of 10 people or less. No experience is necessary; gloves\, tools\, and instruction will be provided. This event will be led by Save The Bay staff certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid. The project site has been planned to ensure safety. For more information about this event\, contact Natalie LaKeidan at (510) 463-6809 or bayevents@saveSFbay.org.
