Stroll the hillsides with docents Kandis Scott and Mike Alexander to appreciate expansive vistas without the searing summer heat. To celebrate this beauty, you are invited to share short bits of nature poetry as you hike for 2.1 miles along the Ancient Oaks, Ridge, and Borel Hill Trails. Bring a few lines of poetry from http://www.poemhunter.com/poems/nature or a source of your choosing. Docents will also bring poems to share.
Meet at the Russian Ridge Preserve parking lot on the northwest corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection (across Skyline Blvd. on the right). Those driving from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 40 minutes travel time.
Events subject to change. Please always check the MROSD page for this event before you go.
