Legend has it that a treasure lies buried somewhere on Mt. Tamalpais. Bill Williams, after whom Bill Williams Creek is named, is said to have deserted the Confederate Army taking along a chest of stolen Confederate gold. Come join us for trail maintenance on the Bill Williams and Tucker trails and look for the hidden treasure! In addition, this area is well-known for end of winter/early spring flowers, which may be worth more than the treasure.

We will be performing tread maintenance, water drainage and light vegetation work. Please meet at Natalie Coffin Greene Park. For easy parking, please arrive at the park at 8:45 a.m.

Directions from Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross: Turn west onto Lagunitas Road and drive one mile to the end to Natalie Coffin Greene Park.
