This bird walk is hosted by the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center. For a variety of reasons, some birds’ traditional distribution has changed in the last decade or less. There is a bird that has been spotted more and more in recent years at the shoreline. We will begin our walk at the Interpretive Center, and see if we can find the almost silly-looking bird, the Great-tailed Grackle. Ages 12 and up. Fee: $5 per person.
