Big Break Regional Shoreline in Oakley is home to the East Bay’s newest nature center — and to dozens of species of birds. Join us at the gateway to the Delta where naturalist Mike Moran (winner of a national interpretation award in 2012!) will show us around. Bring binoculars if you have them. And be ready for rain. We’ll do this rain or shine. The visitor center will be open, so there’s shelter at hand. And if the weather’s good, Big Break is a great spot for a post-birdwalk picnic.
