The new 2013 California Energy Code takes effect January 1, 2014. We’ll talk about the code update process, key changes and additions as compared to the current energy code; how this affects builders, designers, contractors, and Raters; and we’ll give a brief explanation of reach codes and where we are in relation to California Energy Commissions long term goals.
