Learn about the stately Sandhill Crane as part of the Valley of the Moon Nature Lecture Series!

Awe-inspiring and with a prehistoric call, stately gait and elegant choreography, the Sandhill Crane continues to inspire everyone. Gary Ives, Western Region Program Manager of the International Crane Foundation, will discuss the three subspecies of Sandhill Crane that use the Pacific Flyway and the latest information about their breeding ranges, migration paths and wintering sites, much of it from his own research.
