Join docents Chris MacIntosh, Emma Finter, and Steve Brugler for an all-day, strenuous 10-mile hike in the woods on a (possibly) cool fall day. Enjoy finding the fruits and falling leaves of autumn along the Blue Blossom, Methuselah, Steam Donkey, and Timberview Trails on what is primarily a hike, but includes stops for interesting natural history sights to distract and engage you.
For this activity at El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve, meet at Skeggs Point, a Caltrans vista point on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road. Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.
