For the first time, Sherman Island has been added to the Delta Waterway Clean Up as part of Creek Week 2013.
Volunteers are needed to help clean the 1.6 mile stretch of land that has been filled with debris and trash. The event, to take place on April 13th, will also include other festivities such as paddle boarding and kite boarding demonstrations.
