Brent Bucknum of Hyphae Design will speak about Hyphae’s experience designing, engineering, permitting, installing, maintaining and advocating for innovative, or in some cases, very “traditional” residential water systems. While, we often think “green” systems are cutting edge, many of them are age old techniques. In fact, Brent’s 90 year old grandfather’s reaction to his grandson’s innovative work is: “well…that’s just ‘country plumbing!”
Brent will present greywater, rainwater, and integrated water management techniques and provide real life case studies from projects in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz County.
