SUMMARY:Eriogonum Workshop: All About Our Native Wild Buckwheats
DESCRIPTION:The wild buckwheats comprise a huge genus centered in western North America\, with more than 100 species in California. The genus ranges from tiny ephemeral annuals through mat-forming perennials\, herbaceous perennials\, and small woody shrubs. This workshop will focus on identifying\, growing\, and using eriogonums in the landscape. The morning session will be a presentation on the genus with numerous examples\, followed by a session on keying to species. The afternoon will focus on looking at as many examples as possible in the botanic garden.      Saturday\, September 22\, 10 am-3 pm  Instructor: Glenn Keator  Location: Visitor Center\, Regional Parks Botanic Garden  Please bring lunch  $50 members / $60 nonmembers
