Join docents Debbi Brusco, Jack Owicki, and Katherine Greene for a 4.5-mile evening hike. To reach your ridge-top dinner spot, you’ll hike Peters Creek Trail and Long Ridge Road at a moderate pace. You’ll return quietly through the woods, with some stops to listen and observe nocturnal creatures. Bring a flashlight with a red cellophane covering or filter, your meal, and plastic to sit on. (Note: Participants will caravan to the trailhead location.) Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after August 2.

For this activity at Long Ridge Preserve, meet at the Skyline Ridge Preserve parking lot on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Page Mill/Alpine Road and Skyline Blvd. intersection. After entering the preserve, turn right and go to the farthest parking lot. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 40 minutes travel time.(Note: Participants will caravan to the trailhead location.)

Preregistration is required. Find out more at the MROSD page for this event.
