SUMMARY:Explorer Hike: Northeast Ascent
DESCRIPTION:Following on last year's successful ascent\, you'll explore a new northeast route to the top with docents Dennis Smith\, Lynn Jackson\, and Bill Korbholz. Your 1\,000-foot\, fairly strenuous climb will be rewarded by traversing a lovely mixed forest\, views of a rare manzanita\, and a pleasant spot for lunch. This moderately-paced hike will cover about 5 miles. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after October 3.
