The foothill yellow-legged frog is a federally listed species of “special concern,” and we need your help protecting them at the beautiful and popular Little Carson Falls. No special skills or experience are needed, although you must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers will monitor frogs from March-June on their own schedule. Training starts at Sky Oaks Headquarters and includes a hike to the falls. Don’t forget a water bottle!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering on the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed. Below are guidelines for our events. Wear close-toed shoes and long pants and dress for variable weather. Bring your lunch, a reusable water bottle and lots of friends! MMWD provides breakfast snacks, water, tools and inspiration.

For cancellation information, call 415-945-1128 after 7:30a.m. the morning of an event. Trail crew events are suitable for ages 13 and up, and habitat restoration events for ages 8 and up. Volunteers under age 16 must have a parent present at the event. Volunteers under age 18 must bring a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. Contact us for a form.
