We’ll start the morning with a slow ascent from the valley floor to the San Geronimo Ridge. It’s a sustained climb but once we reach the top we will enjoy amazing views and the Pygmy Sargent Cypress forest that makes this preserve so unique. (Distance: 8.0 miles; elevation gain: 1,000 feet). For lunch we’ll drop down to a shaded clearing among towering Redwoods and Douglas-firs.
