Join docents Debbi Brusco and Katherine Greene for an evening out in open space. you’ll hike up and down grassland and woodland trails at a moderate, sometimes leisurely pace. Enjoy your packed dinner, and bring some of your favorite chocolate or other treat to share! On your return trip, you’ll quietly keep an eye out for wildlife and take occasional peeks at the moon and stars. This hike will cover about 4- to 5-miles. Bring a flashlight with a red filter or cellophane covering, and plastic to sit on. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after September 13.
Meet at the Russian Ridge Preserve parking lot on the northwest corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection (across Skyline Blvd. on the right). Those driving from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 40 minutes travel time.
