Committee for Green Foothills invites you to celebrate our golden anniversary with a special afternoon of camaraderie and festivity.
This once-in-a-lifetime event will be held on the beautiful rolling hills of Runnymede Farm, a 100-acre property owned by the Rosekrans family since 1930. Rarely open to the public, this Woodside estate is home to over 115 sculptures by renowned artists such as Jun Kaneko, Viola Frey, and Andy Goldsworthy. Take this opportunity to visit our History Corner and hear stories from environmental heroes, including Martin Litton, Tom Jordon, Don Aitken, Pete McCloskey, and others.
In addition to enjoying the fascinating artwork, scrumptious food, spectacular open space, and wonderful people, our guests will be treated to an inspirational program by authors Jon Christensen and Lynn Stegner. We will close with Assemblymember Rich Gordon leading a salute to our founders and Board members through the years.
Join us as we celebrate fifty years of dedicated advocacy for open space protection and preservation. Together in this beautiful and inspiring place we will renew our spirits as we move forward into the next fifty years.
