SUMMARY:Hidden lives of native animals
DESCRIPTION:On this 2 hour family-friendly walk we’ll scan for wildlife and uncover the tracks and other “signs” that animals leave behind.  We’ll see how predator and prey (from deer and bobcats to hawks and lizards) survive in our streams\, forests and fields.  Bring walking shoes and water on this walk that begins at the Nature and History Center. Meet at 1:00 PM at the Nature Center at Rancho del Oso on the south side of Waddell Creek– just off Hwy 1\, approximately 17 miles north of Santa Cruz / 30 miles south of Half Moon Bay. Heavy rain cancels the walk.
