After switch backing up Bald Knob\, you'll visit a few one-of-a-kind redwoods including the Reiteration Tree and the Tunnel Tree accessed from the Lobitos Creek Trail. This 7-mile\, moderately-paced\, somewhat rugged terrain hike includes a lunch break atop a fallen redwood. For this activity at Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve\, meet at Skeggs Point\, a Caltrans vista point on the east side of Skyline Boulevard\, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84)\, or 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road\, or 8.6 miles south Highway 92.
