Explore this historic logging area via bike with docents Linda and Glenn Wegner. you’ll travel along the Blue Blossom, Crosscut, Manzanita and other trails for this 10- to 12-mile, advanced level mountain bike ride with over 3,500 feet of climbing. Riders must have experience with technical single-track trails and fire roads. Bring water, a power snack, and layers for possible foggy/cool weather. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after September 27.

Advanced Mountain Bike Ride: Intended for participants with dirt single-track riding experience; competent at climbing and descending steep and rough trails. Moderate to fast pace, 10+ mile ride on a wide variety of trail conditions. For experienced riders with a high level of physical fitness and excellent endurance.

For this activity at El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve, meet at Skeggs Point, a Caltrans vista point on the east side of Skyline Boulevard, about 4 miles north of La Honda Road (Highway 84) and 1.5 miles south of Kings Mountain Road. Please note that Caltrans prohibits a left turn into the lot when approaching from the north along Skyline Blvd.
