Do you ever wonder “what kind of bird was that!?” Join local ornithologist and naturalist Lisa Hug and learn how to recognize many of the common birds at Pepperwood Preserve. We will begin the day with a classroom presentation covering the basics of bird identification and the use of binoculars. Then we’ll apply these skills in the field while we explore the beautiful preserve.
Though we will carpool to various areas of the preserve, some hiking off-trail over uneven terrain is required.
