Your kids will learn about nature and life before cell phones by hearing stories about an Ohlone Indian brother and sister who lived here 5,000 years ago. Parents may observe and listen. On this 2-mile hike led by docents Keith Johnsgård and Collin Lim, the kids will explore the rich and diverse Alpine Pond vicinity, and end the day with a visit to the Daniels Nature Center and pond-side picnic. (Note: This activity is intended for children 6 -10 years old. Please indicate the number of children in your party with your reservation.) Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after July 19.
This Skyline Ridge Preserve activity will meet at the Russian Ridge Preserve parking lot located on the northwest corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection (across Skyline Blvd. on the right). Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.
Preregistration is required. Find out more at the MROSD page for this event.
