What if it’s raining? We’ll go in a light rain – if in doubt, call our Outings Line at 524-9318 after 7:30 am.  If no special message, it’s a go!

Just what’s so special about the new Laguna Trail? Wildlife, plants, restoration, partnerships, water, and the viewscape, that’s what! Come learn some Laguna “wow facts,” participate in some fun nature activities, and get up close and personal with the trail to start developing (or increase!) your own Laguna sense of place.

We’ll join our friends from the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation for this exploration of the brand new Laguna de Santa Rosa Regional Trail, managed by Sonoma County Regional Parks.

Sponsored by the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District.

When: We’ll meet at 9 am on Saturday Dec. 15th. Thanks for your promptness. We will do our best to be back to our cars by about 12 pm, but the timing is approximate.

Where: Meeting location TBA upon registration.

What to bring: water, snacks, comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing in layers, binoculars, and a group spirit that will allow us to stay together and have fun!

Details, Details:

  • There is no charge for this outing. It is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who funded the District’s work with a quarter-cent sales tax, in partnership with the District’s non-profit partner, LandPaths
  • You will be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to the hike
  • No pets or smoking

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
