Restore oak woodland and native grassland habitat by removing outcompeting Douglas-fir trees. Our shrinking pocket meadows are home to sun-loving plants and animals and are hunting grounds for birds of prey. The fruits of our open canopy hardwoods–oak, bay, and madrone trees–nourish abundant forest wildlife. Halt the advancement of the fast-growing, shade-producing conifers.
Meeting time & location: 9 a.m. at the dirt lot at the end of the straightaway of Sky Oaks Rd right before the last turn to the Lake Lagunitas parking lot. We will be there with signs!
