Uncover the quiet wonders of night and sounds in this preserve with docents Linda and Glen Wegner, Patty Lovelace, and Earl Girbovan. A 5-minute quiet/no talking stop is planned, as well as other short night sensory activities. The hike route will be along the Canyon and Old Ranch Trails, with total 600 feet of elevation climb over an approximately 4-mile round trip hike. Enjoy views of the coastal hills along with city views of Palo Alto below. Rain cancels the hike, but fog and drizzle do not. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after January 10.

Meet at the Monte Bello Preserve parking lot located on Page Mill Road (across from Los Trancos Preserve), 7 miles west of I-280 or 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.

Preregistration is required. Find out more at the MROSD page for this event.
