Join Chief Park Ranger Rob Ruiz at White House Pool in Inverness on Halloween afternoon to discuss the natural history of Marin’s two largest carnivores: The mountain lion and the coyote. These misunderstood mammals play an important role in our ecosystem. You will learn to identify these elusive animals and their field signs and what to do if you encounter one in the wild. Animal crackers will be provided for a trick or treat snack! Rain will cancel this event. Questions: Contact Chief Ranger Rob Ruiz at (415) 473-4045 or RRuiz@marincounty.org. Meet at White House Pool. From Olema go north on Hwy 1 (Sir Francis Drake Blvd) 2 miles, turn left just before the bridge (staying on Sir Francis Drake Blvd), go 0.7 miles, to White House Pool parking area.
