Mountains are holy places, natural temples where Earth and Sky meet. As living elders, mountains help us to wake up bone memory of our unique destiny and to remember our connection with the stars and vastness.
Our year-long series begins with a day of ritual (10am-5pm) at San Bruno Mountain, one of the most precious and often-overlooked sanctuaries around the Bay. We’ll hike maybe two miles on established trails and offer ritual to greet and feast the local powers. Participants can expect to learn foundational principles and practices for relating with the mountains and leave with a deeper sense of contact with this particular holy place (not only as the strange rock formation along 101 south of San Francisco).
This series is open to all, regardless of prior experience with ritual. Suggested contribution for this day is $75. Be in contact directly to confirm and for details on meet-up location. Commitment for the full cycle is encouraged, and each gathering will likely be open as a stand-alone event.
