Come explore the natural communities of Windy Hill Preserve from the top area down. Observe the winter face put on the grasslands, chaparral, woodland, and evergreen habitats as docents Cathy Brown, Madeline Brane, and John Wertzler help you learn about the uniqueness of each community and appreciate the seasonal character too. This hike will be 4 miles at a moderate pace along the Anniversary, Razor Back Ridge, and Windy Hill Summit Trails.
Meet at the Windy Hill Preserve parking area on Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) 2.3 miles south of La Honda Road (Highway 84) or 4.9 miles north of Page Mill Road.
