Fledge is the stage in a young bird’s life when the feathers and wing muscles are sufficiently developed for flight. Young birds that have recently fledged but are still dependent upon parental care and feeding are called fledglings. Learn about these new little birds and make a craft to take home. Ages 3 to 5. $5.
