An annual hike to see the annuals! Join docents Rich and Toni Gooch on this 6.5-mile loop along most of the trails found in this beautiful Preserve. You’ll walk through a variety of plant communities and should find many flowering plants on this long “bloomin’” hike. Bring lunch to enjoy with a view from the highest point in Long Ridge Preserve.

For this activity at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve, meet at the Grizzly Flat trailhead on the west side of Skyline Boulevard 3.6 miles north of Highway 9, or 3.3 miles south of Page Mill Road. If you are traveling from the north on Skyline Blvd., the pullout is just past Portola Heights Road on the right. From the south, the pullout is near the Palo Alto city limits sign on the right.
