After a two-year building project, the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC) has
completed a new, modern greenhouse and a new California Certified Organic plant nursery
specializing in open-pollinated, heirloom and rare varieties.
Six Full Weekend Plant Sales Each Year:
OAEC will annually host six full weekend plant sales (up from three in previous years). Plant sales will be the weekends of May 4 & 5, 11 & 12 and August 17 & 18, 24 & 25. Hours will be 9 – 5 each day.
During these plant sales free tours will be offered at 1pm, fabulous food trucks will be
available and most OAEC staff will be on-site to answer questions about our plants, gardens,
and the education programs we offer.
Plants available will be listed on the OAEC website approximately two weeks before each Plant
Sale or Nursery Weekend.
