The Broom Busters of Old St Hilary’s host a monthly broom bust party. Since 1997 this amazing group has removed invasive weeds, which threaten endangered plants, on the first Saturday of every month. The work involves moderately strenuous activity on uneven ground. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Heavy rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 473-3778 after 7am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled.
