Join us for our 2nd planting day of the season. We’ll meet at the Evergreen Lane entrance to Garber Park at the end of Evergreen for coffee, tea and snacks and then we’ll walk along the lower loop trail to Harwood Creek. We will be partnering with Lech Naumovich, botanist and executive director of the Golden Hour Restoration Institute. Lech will lead a workshop on passive restoration techniques near a restored drainage of Harwook Creek (also known as Claremont Creek) where the City of Oakland has invested Measure DD funds to restore the area.

Be ready to get dirty and work physically as we weed, transplant and control soil erosion.
