Come explore the natural communities of this diverse Preserve. Observe the spring adornment put on the grasslands, chaparral, woodland, and evergreen habitats as docents Cathy Brown, Madeline Brane, and John Wertzler help you learn about the uniqueness of each community and appreciate the seasonal character too. This is a 4-mile, moderately-paced outing.

Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Preserve parking lot. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road. Travel 3/4 mile east on Edgewood Road toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve entrance on the right.
