Meet at the Evergreen Lane Entrance 10AM to sign in, enjoy some coffee and snacks, and then be ready to help get over 200 plants in the ground. We are thrilled that Lech Naumovich, botanist and Executive Director of Golden Hour Restoration Institute will, once again, lead us in getting over 200 native plants in the ground. Lech will guide us through the results of the last two years’ very successful plantings, talk about selection of appropriate native plants for microsites found on the hillside, and guide us in a fun morning of planting.
We need your help to ensure another successful Restoration Planting Day. As always, there will be many different kinds of activities that volunteers can do – not everyone needs to climb the hill or dig in the dirt. Other activities include: photographer, sorting and cataloguing the plants, collecting logs for planting beds, and even volunteers to pass plants to those on the steep hillside.
Everyone Welcome. Wear long sleeves and pants, and sturdy shoes.
DIRECTIONS: The closest address is 144 Evergreen Lane, Berkeley.
