Marin County Parks hosts a habitat restoration workday on the last Saturday of every month! Workdays will focus on restoring the sensitive habitat of Ring Mountain Preserve, which is home to numerous rare and endangered plants. Efforts include weeding, seed collecting, tarping, fence construction, and installing native plants. Educational components are also included as staff and guest naturalists will discuss the plants and animals that inhabit this unique place, and explain how volunteer activities are having a positive impact.

Workdays will be held at the same time, but projects and meeting places may vary slightly, so visit marincountyparks.org and click Events Calendar for details regarding this month’s activities.

Questions: Contact Ring Mountain Stewardship Coordinator Sam Abercrombie at (415) 473-2128 or SAbercrombie@marincounty.org. We hope to see you on Ring Mountain!
