Let’s celebrate Ring Mountain Preserve for our 15th annual “Fling on Ring” community event! Join us for a day of environmental education and community service. We’ll remove invasive French broom to help restore the native grassland that makes Ring Mountain special. Drop-in days are held on the last Saturday of every month (except November and December). All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Snacks, lunch, and extra water will be provided. In the event of heavy rain and/or high winds call (415) 473-3778 to find out about event status. In the event of cancellation, program will be rescheduled. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required.
