Discover your inner trail runner with REI and Salomon this September. Salomon reps will join the experts at REI for a two-part event in the North Bay to help you find your trail running style. Attend an evening presentation at REI Berkeley (9/6), then join REI on the trail the following Saturday (9/8) for a run led by the experts at Salomon. The evening program will cover the basics of trail running and help remove barriers to taking your training from road to trail. On the run, you’ll have the opportunity to demo Salomon’s line of trail runners, including the Crossmax, Mission, and Speedcross, as well as Suunto watches and hydration systems. The trail run will take place at Tennessee Valley in Golden Gate National Recreation Area’s Marin Headlands. Registration is required at http://www.runnersworld.com/salomontrailtour. When you register, you will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes for Salomon gear. Everyone who attends is also entered to win great gear prizes from Suunto and REI. Due to park permit requirements, spaces on the trail run are limited.
