Join Snowy Plover expert Caitlin Robinson-Nilsen for a unique field trip and educational experience focused on the federally threatened Western Snowy Plover and the ongoing conservation efforts in San Francisco Bay. Caitlin is the former Waterbird Program Director at San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory and an authority on the Western Snowy Plover in San Francisco Bay. Participants will spend the morning in the field observing plovers at the Bird Observatory’s study sites, followed by a short workshop highlighting SFBBO’s nine years of plover research and how it informs management and conservation of this species.

$100 per person- Limit 10 people
